GlovePie tutorials on the way!

Started work on GlovePie tutorials, expect them to be uploaded some time early next month. The tutorials will teach you how to script in GlovePie. It is recommended that you have some basic programming knowledge to fully benefit form the tutorials.

NOOOOOOOOO!

I was just getting ready to start some video tutorials in GlovePie. I had set up my pc and then I sat on my headset and broke it. I tried to fix it but there was to much interference when recording. I will have to wait until my new headset come though the post before I can do any more recording.

GlovePie and mouse

There are may demos on how to use the wiimote's IR pointer to control a pc's mouse. However most games will not accept this method of emulation because they use direct mouse input. Therefore you cannot just change the mouse cursors x and y values. You need to fake mouse direct input. I have created some code to do this but as expected the wiimote is not a good controller for first person games. I will continue to update you all.

GlovePie

Iv been learning the basic of GlovePie and will am hoping to post some tutorials soon. Glovepie is a scripting language to enable users to use there wiimotes to control pc applications. Glovepie can even emulate joypad inputs, using the PPJoy application.

Delphi Tutorials Up!

At last the first load of Delphi tutorials are up. We had some huge problems uploading this to the site. Thank you for your patience.

Network Problems

We have been having network problems and this have yet again delayed our uploading of the Delphi course. This problem has now been fixed and the tutorials will be uploaded ASAP. We apologies for the delays.

Dos / Command Prompt

There will be tutorials teaching you how to use the dos operating system. Yes we know that dos is old but its a good way to learn how computers work. Its also nice and simple and instantly available to all windows users. This course will be available for download from 11/12/2006

Work has began on the Delphi course. We are currently Creating the course plan and structure. The first chapter will be available for download by the end of November.

Pascal Course Update

Chapter 1 has been completely modified and has been upload. You many now download it by going to the Pascal Tutorials Page.

We are also modifying the website to allow for the source code to be accessible for download by the end of November.

Pascal Modifications

We have reviewed our Pascal course and decided that it needs modifying! Therefore we will be altering it to include important information for A-Level Computing students. This will help greatly with the programming side of the course.

All .pas files seen in the course will be available for members to download.

 The Tutorials will be available for download as soon as they are complete.

The video tutorials for Byond Chapter 6 are now complete. They are currently be encoded in to quick time format so the should be uploaded within a week!

Byond Chapter 6 Description

This chapter will cover Npc (None Playable Character). For individual tutorials information check out the Byond tutorials page.

Byond Chapter 7 Description

In this chapter you will learn about the basics about Ai (Artificial Intelligence). You will learn how to create a Ai system that will attack on site and chase you if you run away. We will also look at a very simple re-spawner!
